The home
About 16 Turtle Bay
A waterfront townhome on Folly Beach where the Folly River is your backyard and the Atlantic about half a mile away on foot.

The setting
Water on two sides
Unit 16 sits at the end of Turtle Bay, which means the Folly River wraps around two sides of the property. From the living room, you can see the water without turning your head. From the primary suite, you wake up to it.
It's a three-story townhome with the garage and entry on the ground level, living and kitchen on the second floor, and bedrooms on the third.
The beach is about half a mile — a ten-minute walk at an ordinary pace, or a couple of minutes on a bike. Most guests walk it in the morning and take the bikes when they are carrying chairs and a cooler.
